The officers at the JB County Sheriff's Department were having a problem with the Velcro on the cummerbunds of their vests wearing out and not holding. Also, they were finding that they did not have enough molle on their vests to hold their equipment. The solution was to add molle on the cummerbunds to allow the officers to carry more gear. We also added First Spear 4 inch tubes to the front of the vest and cummerbunds. The First Spear tubes are used by lots of members of the armed forces and are extremely durable and secure.
Fergus County Sheriff's Dept.
The Fergus County Sheriff's Deputies share the same issues as the JB County Deputies. Adding Molle to the cummerbunds is increasingly popular. Even more popular has become the First Spear 4 inch tubes! We have made alterations to several the deputies' vests to date.
Patches - Velcro vs. Sew On
We have added Velcro to jackets, hoodies, etc so that patches can be worn or removed and/or switched as necessary. Also adding Velcro to the back of iron on or sew on patches, allows the patches to be removed for cleaning or use on another jacket or garment.

designing and manufacturing "The Patrol" an officer's dream vest/plate carrier. It can be worn with or without plates. It accommodates soft armor plates. It accommodates additional hard plates. This vest has radio wire management and 4 inch First Spear tubes for front/side closure. It has more molle than most standard vests. Also, as this officer has an extremely long torso, it is custom made so he doesn't look like he is wearing a half shirt.
